Mesothelioma and Asbestos

Cancer researcher as well as health examination oncologist Nicholas J. Vogelzang, MD joined the US Oncology Research network. He will be treating patients at the Comprehensive Cancer Centers of Nevada, serving as Chair as well as Health examination Director of the Developmental Therapeutics Committee as well as serving as well as as the Co-Chair of the Genitourinary Committee.

In his research, Dr. Vogelzang has developed recent treatments for prostate cancer, kidney cancer, bladder cancer, testicular cancer as well as mesothelioma, a rare but humorless form of cancer that is caused by asbestos exposure.
