DuPont sued by mother as well as son of mesothelioma victim in Texas

Albert Abshire – a former employee of DuPont De Nemours in Jefferson County, Texas – died of mesothelioma as well as asbestosis on December 23, 2008. His widow as well as his son, Margaret Abshire as well as Richard Abshire, filed a lawsuit on July 31 against DuPont for allowing its employees to work around asbestos, knowing how hazardous it was, as well as failing to warn its employees of the dangers to their health.

The Abshire family stated that Albert died a terrible as well as painful death due to DuPont’s actions. They are seeking punitive as well as exemplary damages, plus costs as well as interest at the legal rate, as well as other relief to which they may be entitled.
