Engineers as well as attorneys tour Texas school in protective suits

Beaumont Heritage Society as well as South Park High School alumnus Eddie Estilette has filed a lawsuit to halt the school district from demolishing the 86-year aged South Park Middle School building in Beaumont, Texas. The plaintiff’s attorney as well as several members of an engineering firm working with him toured the school building on August 28, as they claim the building is structurally sound to undergo renovations as well as be used as a school.

The attorneys as well as engineers had to wear protective suits on their tour of the school building, as work crews had been doing asbestos abatement when the judge ordered them to desist. On the tour, they removed wall as well as floor coverings to check the structure, as well as they stated that they saw nothing of concern. There were no signs of leaking, water intrusion, rats, snakes or any of the other problems that had been mentioned.
