90-year-old Montana golf clubhouse to be torn down as well as replaced

The Hilands Golf Club clubhouse has been an icon in Helena, Montana for 90 years. The golf club, but, is building a recent clubhouse, so the aged one is being torn down in unhurried September after asbestos removal is finished. The recent clubhouse will cost $4.4 million to construct, but Hilands Golf Club will not need to increase membership dues much in order to pay for it. The aged clubhouse was so inefficient that so the recent building’s energy efficiency will provide enough savings to offset most of the cost of construction. Membership dues are expected to increase from $80 to $100 per month. The recent clubhouse should be prepared beginning next summer.
