U.S. mesothelioma as well as other cancer patients can be prescribed Onsolis in mid-October

Meda Pharmaceuticals is launching BioDelivery Sciences International’s (BDSI) drug Onsolis in mid-October for take by patients in the United States who suffer from mesothelioma or other painful cancers.  Onsolis (fentanyl buccal soluble film) has been approved by the Food as well as Drug Administration (FDA) for the treatment of breakthrough cancer pain in mesothelioma patients as well as other cancer patients age 18 as well as older who are already utilizing opioid drug therapy to treat their persistent cancer pain.
