Bob Wayne Jonas of Dayton has been fined $7,200 by the Oregon Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) for accumulating asbestos-containing materials on his property following demolition of a building there. The building was demolished in 2006, but DEQ inspectors discovered asbestos at the site this done March on an unfastened concrete slab.
