Michael Cease, an inspector for the Department of Environment in Chicago, Illinois, has been charged with using over $1,000 in bribes from a property owner. Chicago’s inspector common as well as the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) discovered that Cease had told a property owner that asbestos had been found in one of his buildings in September.
