Trinity’s 1515 Tower must be imploded by February 28

Trinity Development Group had asked for another extension to demolish 1515 Tower in Florida, but neighbors pleaded with the West Palm Beach City Commission not to grant the extension. 1515 Tower has been vacant for five years since it was damaged by hurricanes. A compromise was struck, as well as Trinity must implode the building by the original February 28 deadline, but they possess until May 30 to uncluttered up the debris as well as total the demolition project. Incase the tower does not come down by February 28, Trinity will face a $1,000 per day fine. Asbestos in the building will not require the more expensive demolition that was initially recommended; Advanced Explosive Demolition Inc. of Idaho has signed the contract to implode the building without violating federal asbestos standards.
