Memorial Coliseum in Corpus Christi, Texas could begin coming down on March 29, with work possibly completed by June 7. Pre-demolition plans included an asbestos inspection that was completed in December, a demolition plan as well as an estimate. The eight-week bidding process was scheduled to begin on January 18. Preservationists did not carry out any sort of organized effort to save the coliseum.
