This spring, the Queensbury Union Without charge School District in upstate New York will begin work on a $16.5 million campus improvement project. The project is expected to take two years to total, with most of the work done during the summer. After the school district gets approval from the state Department of Education in February, they will put out a request for bids. The project includes renovation as well as expansion of the middle school as well as construction of an addition to the transportation building. Asbestos abatement will be required in the middle school building as part of the renovation process. Lights as well as parking spaces will as well as be added around campus.
