UN renovations will restore building to its original look

The United Nations Building in New York is getting a remodel, but instead of being made to look more modern in 2010, the building will be restored to its original look from 1952. Since the building is deteriorating, the remodeling is being done to ensure the building is protected as well as will withstand wear as well as tear for several decades. Asbestos abatement must be performed to get rid of the toxic mineral from this substantial community building. Energy-efficient improvements will be made, including a recent heating system, recent insulation as well as recent windows. The end result will be a building that looks the alike way it did over 50 years ago, with less than half the water as well as power consumption.
