The Asbestos Disease Awareness Organization (ADAO) supports Representative Steve Cohen of Tennessee as well as his cosponsors for introducing HR 1138 to declare the earliest week of April National Asbestos Awareness Week. The goal of National Asbestos Awareness Week is to raise community awareness of the dangers of asbestos exposure as well as the prevalence of asbestos-related diseases similar mesothelioma. Cosponsors as well as supporters of the resolution include Representative Raul Grijalva of Arizona, Representative Lois Capps of California, Representative Gwen Moore of Wisconsin as well as Representative Betty Sutton of Ohio.
