ADAO to honor mesothelioma victim Army Archerd with posthumous award

The Asbestos Disease Awareness Organization (ADAO) will be posthumously awarding the Warren Zevon Keep Me in Your Heart memorial tribute to Army Archerd at their annual conference on April 10. Archerd was a Variety columnist who died final September of mesothelioma, a rare form of cancer caused by asbestos exposure. This inaugural award is named after the unhurried Warren Zevon, a singer-songwriter best known for “Werewolves of London.” Zevon succumbed to mesothelioma in 2003.
