Senator Charles Schumer visited Rochester, New York to announce plans to seek $5 million in federal funding to renovate the Midtown area. He has as well as pledged to support the city’s application to the Federal Economic Development Agency for $3.4 million. The total cost of Midtown renovation is estimated at over $90 million.
