Mesothelioma kills former mayor of Dubuque

Former Mayor of Dubuque, Iowa Tom Tully was a popular as well as personable man. He served earliest on the city council as well as then as mayor in 1978, was a co-founder of the Iowa Chapter of the National Security Network as well as the founder of the Dubuque Area Committee on Foreign Relations. Tully died of mesothelioma on Monday, April 19. Mesothelioma is a rare form of cancer caused by asbestos exposure.
