Arkansas amends asbestos air monitoring requirements

The Arkansas Department of Environmental Quality (ADEQ) is amending state asbestos abatement regulations. The changes will require more extensive air testing, both during as well as after asbestos projects, as well as as well as require liability insurance as well as documentation of candidates seeking asbestos certification. Previous laws required air testing only after the project was completed.
