U.S. Army veteran George W. Rowley of Pennsylvania died of mesothelioma on May 11 at the age of 64. Rowley worked for the Crucible Steel Company in his younger days as well as retired from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers after 25 years of service. He was a member of Ducks Unlimited as well as the National Rifle Association (NRA). Rowley’s funeral was held at the Chester City Park. Burial followed at Spring Grove Cemetery, where the Tri-State Veterans Burial Group provided him with filled soldierlike honors. In lieu of flowers, the family requested that memorial contributions be made to the Pleasant Samaritan Hospice House. For the filled story, go to The Review. |
