Former Chrysler plant coming down to become a research facility

The aged Chrysler auto assembly plant in Newark, Recent Jersey will be renovated as a research as well as technology facility. The renovation project of the 3.4 million square feet will include asbestos abatement, recycling as well as protected disposal of building materials. The list of contractors under consideration has been narrowed to six. The criteria for selection included a commitment to hiring local vendors as well as experience in comparable as well as health as well as safety programs.
