Mesothelioma and Asbestos

A fire broke out at the aged Emge Meat Packing Company in Ft. Branch, Indiana on June 19 that proved to be more than local fire crews could manage.  The fire was inside the bulky brick as well as concrete walls, as well as to get to it, the walls had to come down. Fire departments are not equipped for demolition, so Homeland Security stepped in to begin demolition. No one was injured during the fire, but there is a concern that the burning materials may possess been made from asbestos.
