Major renovations underway at Danvers High School

Danvers High School in Massachusetts is being demolished as well as rebuilt to the tune of $80 million. After asbestos is removed from the buildings, a three-story science wing will be erected, along with recent core areas for offices as well as the library. The design is approved as well as bidding on the construction will begin in the fall. Asbestos abatement is already underway at night while no summer school students are existing.

School will be conducted as usual during the construction with the students moved to the Dunn Wing for the next two years until completion. Other areas of the school will be rearranged to accommodate all the students, as well as temporary corridors will be built to connect areas.
