Bachelorette suitor Kirk reveals health examination problems from toxic exposure

On a June episode, Kirk won the coveted one-on-one date with lovely Ali on ABC’s The Bachelorette. After picking out matching sweaters at a local boutique in Iceland, Kirk as well as Ali enjoyed a heart to heart over a cup of tea that included some personal revelations. Kirk recounted that he nearly died while existing in an aged house riddled with mold as well as asbestos he was unaware of at the time. His body reacted to the mold exposure with nerve damage, memory loss, partial paralysis, as well as hair loss. Asbestos exposure can cause latent diseases—like mesothelioma, asbestosis or asbestos-related lung cancer—that may take decades to be diagnosed.

The suitor explained that, after re recovered from the effects of the aged exposure, the near death experience west him with a heightened sense of purpose as well as a desire to create more meaningful relationships in his life.
