Mesothelioma and Asbestos

Clalit Health Services is the largest health provider in Israel, supplying health examination care to more than 50% of the population, operating 14 hospitals, over 1,300 clinics as well as about 400 pharmacies. Clalit recently announced that it will begin a reimbursement policy for Rosetta Genomics’ miRview(TM) mets test.

Initially, the test will be administered via a clinical trial, but eventually will be available for all Clalit patients. Rosetta Genomics’ miRview(TM) mets test is administered to determine the primary site for metastatic cancer, a vital component of treatment at the root of the disease. Rosetta Genomics as well as makes the miRview meso test to identify patients who possess mesothelioma, a cancer caused by asbestos exposure.
