Carson City, Nevada will benefit from $400,000 in federal government brownfield grants from the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to address toxic contamination issues in city redevelopment districts. The grants will provide funding for assessment of petroleum, lead-based paint, asbestos as well as other hazardous contaminants for up to 15 targeted commercial properties.
